Artist Profile

My work represents a subtle restless search in the inner world of the human creature, trying to reveal the psychological and spiritual problems modern man seems to face. With my art I feel that I'm helping to heal the feeling of a meaningless life and spiritual poverty which represents a current crisis for many people. In believing that the inner world of a human individual is far away deeper and wider than the outside world.

To me, color is a sense and the lines represent determination. Using both, I construct my work through a joyful process. The general message of my art is that it is full of spirit and is made to carry the idea of a new inner power for this type of art has begun to lose it's meaning.

Abelseed is a self-taught artist, he sold more than 900 paintings to private collectors and museums worldwide from the year 1982 to 2019. He lived and worked in England, Spain, and the USA as well. He lives and exhibits in New York City since 1986. He is regarded by many Major New York City Galleries as one of the most Remarkable Artists of the 21st Century.
